At the core of Hamilton’s sample manger system is the asmStore. Each self-contained asmStore module is equipped to pick and compile individual 2-D barcoded tubes, 96-tube racks or plates within an inert, temperature controlled environment. One or more asmStore modules are combined with an asmServer module to complete the Sample Management System. The asmServer module the brains of the system features integrated active thaw, handoff to third-party device, and integrated 1D- and 2D-barcode reading, which tracks every 1D or 2D barcode on entry and exit to the system.
Key features include internal tube compiler and storage buffer for optimal efficiency and throughput, throughput rates from 350-1000 tubes per hour, 120 racks per hour, per asmStore module and manual point-of-access for racks of tubes being introduced into the asmStore module.
Hamilton Storage’s modular plate management systems are available to government users at GSA Schedule pricing at GSAMart. For more details: http://hamiltonstorage.gsamart.com
